I believe those of us who work in the Animal Industry Division have two jobs. The first is to protect the livestock of Oklahoma from disease. The second is to assist our livestock producers and help them be as productive as possible. Unfortunately those two jobs don't always work hand in hand and to protect the welfare of an entire group of livestock we must enforce restrictions on a single or a group of producers.
In an effort to serve Oklahoma's animal industries and the public, we continuously review and evaluate our services. We would appreciate input on suggested changes to current services or recommendations for needed programs or services. The following links provide information on programs we are currently involved in.
We would be happy to speak to individuals or groups seeking information on any of these programs.
Please call or email our staff if we can be of service, contact information is on the AIS Staff link on the left.
